1. Who we are
Foodeco is operated by Eleftherios Tatsis under the WeGiveSol brand. Questions and privacy requests may be sent to foodeco.support@gmail.com.
2. Information processed by Foodeco
Account information
When you create or use a Foodeco account, the app processes information required for authentication, such as your email address and a unique account identifier. Authentication is provided through Supabase.
Subscription information
Apple processes payments for iOS subscriptions. RevenueCat processes subscription status, product information, entitlement status and a customer identifier so Foodeco can determine whether Foodeco Pro is active. Foodeco does not receive your complete payment-card details.
Business and operational records
Information entered into the app may include business details, responsible persons, equipment, temperature records, cleaning records, food-process records, notes, health-certificate information, photos and generated reports.
In the current version, these operational records and photo attachments are stored locally on your device and are not synchronized to a Foodeco cloud database.
Technical diagnostics
Foodeco may use Sentry to receive technical diagnostics and crash information, such as app version, device or operating-system information, error details and technical context needed to diagnose reliability problems.
Support communications
If you contact support, we process the information you include in your message so we can respond and resolve the request.
3. Why we process information
- To create, authenticate and secure user accounts.
- To provide and restore Foodeco Pro access.
- To operate the app and its record-keeping features.
- To diagnose crashes and technical problems.
- To respond to support and privacy requests.
- To protect the app from misuse and maintain service security.
4. Service providers
Foodeco uses the following service providers:
- Supabase — account authentication.
- RevenueCat — subscription and entitlement management.
- Apple — App Store distribution, billing and subscription management.
- Sentry — technical diagnostics and crash reporting.
These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies and may process data in countries other than your own.
5. Advertising and tracking
Foodeco does not sell personal information and does not use personal information for targeted advertising or cross-app tracking.
6. Data retention
Account and subscription-related information is retained for as long as necessary to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes and protect the service.
Local operational records remain on the device until they are removed by the user, the application data is cleared, or the app is deleted. Users are responsible for keeping secure copies of exported reports they need to retain.
7. Account deletion and privacy choices
To request deletion of your Foodeco account or exercise privacy rights, contact foodeco.support@gmail.com from the email associated with the account.
Removing a Foodeco account from the authentication service may not automatically remove local files or records stored on your device. Local app data can be removed by deleting the application or clearing its stored data.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect account and service information. No electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
9. Children
Foodeco is intended for businesses and professional record keeping. It is not directed to children.
10. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the app, its service providers or legal requirements change. The current version will be published on this page with an updated date.
